Common Issues Brought to an Ombuds

In general you might bring any issue about which you think something should be done—but you are not sure where to go or what to do. (See What Do We Do?) Common issues include:

  • Ethics issues and MIT values, any kind of misconduct
  • Fear of coming forward or of acting to stop unacceptable behavior
